site

For all information relating to COVID-19 then log onto nhs.inform, information is updated regularly.

It is important to note that the Practice is still open.

The Practice needs to ensure that we can meet patient demand and prioritise patient and staff safety. We have therefore changed the current appointment booking system and all requests for appointments will be telephone appointments with clinicians arranging patients to be seen in the practice when necessary.  If you require medical advice you should contact us by phone and your call will be directed appropriately. The phone lines may be more busy than usual. Please ensure that your contact numbers are up-to-date as some new announcements may come as text messages.

You must telephone at 8am as you did previously before COVID-19  calls after 2pm are limited and for emergencies only.

If you are appointed to attend the surgery then please arrive at the appointed time and where possible on your own.  We have an intercom outside the door which will be answered by a member of staff who will ask you to put on a mask. This is for your own safety as well as the safety of the Practice Team.  We ask that you wait in the corridor respecting the 2 metres social distancing rule, the clinician you are seeing will come and escort you to their room.  After your consultation we will ask you to exit by the back door.

WHEN YOU ORDER YOUR PRESCRIPTION ON THE ANSWERING MACHINE PLEASE INFORM US WHICH PHARMACY YOU  USE AND WE CAN ARRANGE FOR YOUR PRESCRIPTION TO BE SENT THERE.  PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE SURGERY TO PICK UP YOUR PRESCRIPTION WE NEED TO LIMIT THE PUBLIC ENTERING THE BUILDING TELEPHONE US FIRST LET US KNOW WHICH PHARMACY YOU USE AND WE CAN SEND YOUR PRESCRIPTION TO THEM.
